A black rhino with his disappearing shadow painted in watercolour by Michelle SaintOnge.
Man, The Beast, A Disappearance

Man, The Beast, A Disappearance

I'm deeply moved by all the efforts of people around the world that work tirelessly to protect the most vulnerable animals from extinction. When Sudan died (the last male northern white rhino) I had just finished this painting. This rhino's disappearing shadow felt particularly poignant and I feel especially moved everytime I look at this image.
